Dzmitry Andreyeu:
Master Blacksmith

Trained in Belarus from the age of 16, Dzmitry Andreyeu brings together scientific knowledge, traditional craftsmanship, and museum experience. His work revives ancestral techniques from Eastern Europe and brings them to Barcelona, where he teaches and continues his research in historical forging.

Dzmitry Andreyeu was born in Minsk, Belarus, in 1989.
He is a specialist in ancient metallurgical technologies and a professional blacksmith focused on forging weapons and tools.
He began his training as a blacksmith at the age of 16.
In 2012, he graduated in Energy Engineering from the Belarusian National Technical University.
Since 2013, he has been a member of the Union of Masters of Folk Arts of Belarus.
From 2017 to 2019, he taught official forging courses at the Minsk School of Arts and Crafts.
In 2021, he completed his master’s degree in metallurgy, focused on ancient metallurgical technologies of Eastern Europe.
He is the author of scientific articles on metallurgy and ancient technologies.
Between 2021 and 2022, he worked at the Belarusian Academy of Sciences in the field of historical and cultural heritage.
He collaborates with the National Historical Museum and other museums in Belarus, helping to organize exhibitions on forging and creating historical weapons that are currently displayed in these institutions.
He has participated in numerous forging festivals and blacksmith gatherings across many European countries, including Ukraine, Israel, and Russia.
He now resides in Barcelona (Spain), where he teaches forging courses.
